Traveling in Luxury

Now here's an old outfit. This was the very first for my Beorning. Just like the last post featuring this character, I wasn't quite sure at the time what her clothing style would be. I just wanted to get her out of her intro clothing as soon as possible. It's been some time since taking these pictures and I believe that I've already cycled out this outfit. I think it looked lovely...but it just wasn't her style. However, almost any character could wear this somewhat decorative, yet casual traveler's attire.

Out of the 45 dyes (29 craftable, 16 festival barter) in LOTRO, but I had to pick purple. It's a color I've seldom used. Purple quite often takes on a bold, bright, saturated tone. If I'm looking for something in the vicinity of that color, I tend to fall back on indigo or violet. They have a more subdued, more natural look. But, every now and then, you'll find I've used some of the brightest colors in the game because they were perfect for a particular outfit! Perhaps I should do something with shire plum in the future? There's no color more obnoxiously bright in LOTRO!

With the passing of Thanksgiving in the US, it means the major holiday season is in full swing. I don't know what's store or how little time I have to play. I'm hoping I can squeeze in some holiday-themed (or a least some winter-themed) outfits, as I have in the past. Last year for December, I didn't have a functioning PC. I can't make promises, but I will certainly try to make up for it this year!
